In You Arms Tonight: Kippei (´ ▽`).。o♡

I finished Kippei's story 2 days ago, honestly i like him more than i thought I would. From the beginning I thought Kippei was just going to be one of the characters that were just like hm whatever.  But no, i really enjoyed his story :)
I watched it on youtube from Yuriko Ai: http://youtu.be/d8XVy81gpns
CGs at: http://cggal.wordpress.com/2012/11/22/kippei-ebihara-in-your-arms-tonight/
Kippei at first seems like a workaholic, he even admits to the MC that work is all he has (I think), but he's actaully really sweet, caring, and he has so many adorable moments. Kippei is my favorite character so far, but i've only seen his, just finished Genji's, and watched some of Koichi's, so I can't say for sure yet. But he really is cute, Kippei.

~~SPOILERS YAYAYAYAY~~
*I'm writing all this from memory*
The story starts off with the MC still married to Koichi, she hasn't even talked to him about seeing him with another woman (really MC? really? -__-) The MC is still scared of Kippei, and he yells at her when she comes in late because Koichi calls her when she's on her way to work to tell her to bring his keys (?) to his office place because he forgot, making her really late. it doesn't help when she gets paired up with him to work on a preschool. So yeah, they work on the new assignment together and the MC sees a side to Kippei that she didn't know existed, and how he's really serious about his work. Sometime later they go on a business trip to check out some furniture for the preschool. A typhoon hits so they're forced to stay in a closed inn in the town. A tree falls into the MC's room so she has to share a room with Kippei, and of course she freaks out. He starts drinking then falls asleep, and this is where she learns about his brother because he murmured it in his sleep. The day she gets back, with no sleep, she goes to work and then has to entertain her in-laws and the mother starts being the b*tch she is and tells the MC to hurry up and quit her job to take care of the house (I hate the mother-in-law so much. No matter in which story, I hate her. She is so old fashioned, pushy, and has such an attitude.) The father-in-law is wondering when they're going to have a child.... uh no. Afterwards, some days later after they visit the preschool again. Afterwards they part ways but the MC being the stalker she is hahaha, follows Kippei and he goes into the bar. Here she learns about his brother and his past. His parents had died in an accident, so him and his brother went to go live at their uncle's house. His brother was apparently really smart, but didn't go to college and went to work right after high school and taking Kippei out of their uncle's house and taking care of him, paying his school expenses and everything. It turns out that his brother was the one who wanted them to go into interior designing together. Right when they were going to start their big plan, Kippei's brother dies from cancer i think and dies. Then the MC tells Kippei why she's still trying to make things work with Koichi, because of her parents. She doesn't want to worry them or something like that. Afterwards they go to park and that basically told each other that they're special to one another. Kippei says that the MC is the only one who goes heads-on with him and that being with her really throws him off. The MC says that at first she was scared of him too but eventually saw him as a really warm person. It starts raining (ugh something always has to interrupt). They run to a hotel where there are a bunch of taxis i think and Kippei leaves. As she is waiting, the MC sees the woman that she saw Koichi with that day she found out he was cheating, and she sees Koichi. She asks him why he's here and he says he entertaining clients (entertaining clients my butt!!) No wait, i don't think Kippei left. I think he went to go call a taxi but after the MC runs into Koichi she runs out of the hotel. Kippei catches up to her and she's a mess. She's basicaly on the verge of tears and she tells him to leave her alone, but of course he doesn't and she falls (How embarrassing, i feel bad for her :( ) She then starts talking about how stupid she is while Kippei is trying to get her to go inside before she catches pneumonia and she says that she'll just stay outside, catch pneumonia, and die. Kippei then yells at her because his brother didn't want to die, but he did, and now she's talking about wanting to die. And then Kippei tells her to stay with him, yes in that way eeeekkk! And this is the first time where he tells her to serperate from her husband already. Yes, the first time, meaning that he says it later on too ^^. And they kiss!!!

He then takes her to his house because she doesn't want to go home. This is the first time you see Kippei's hair not did :). She spends the night there, then the next day they go out and act like a newlywed couple, so cute. They eat at a restaraunt for lunch i think and they start talking about flowers. He asks the MC which flowers she likes and you make a choice (choose dogwood). He then asks the MC if she knows what the meaning of dogwoods are, they mean "accept my feelings". (This reminded me of Love Letter From Thief X because Riki said the same thing when i watched his story) This eventually proves to be very important later on. I think they go out for a walk and then the MC's mom calls and ruins the date -__-. The MC goes home and her mom is already there. So it's just the MC, Koichi, and the MC's mom. Pulling on the stupid good husband act, Koichi worriedly asks where the MC went and just ugh. He says that he was calling her but she never picked up. (Lies! I think ... i remember a time where he really was calling her but she was ignoring him.. it might've been this time .. or a different time) Koichi steps out for a minute becasue he gets a call i think. Then the MC's mother asks her if she's happy Koichi, asking all suspiciously. The MC lies of course. After the MC's mother leaves, the MC decides to forget about Kippei and trys once again to make things between her and Koichi work. They eat dinner together and she finally asks him about that woman. He says that she's just for amusement (You really didn't help out your case there bud -_-) And he goes on to say that every guy does that even his dad and her dad. He says that it's nothing to worry about. Then he goes on into his signature definition of marriage; marriage is just a comphromise between two people and that it's supposed to benefeit both sides... really? He says this in his story too. Then after she takes a shower, he has the nerve to say to her, "come into my room" "I think it's time we start thinking about children." (asdfghjkl; i want to hurt you so bad) She refuses and goes into her room. Then she starts thinking about Kippei but convinces herself it'll never work out. Then the next few days Koichi starts acting .. nicer. So the day after he tried getting her into the bedroom, the MC starts getting fidgety at work around Kippei. He then sends her a text asking if she's free tonight. She ignores it. Then hey go check out the site where she's working on a book cafe. Afterwards she tells him that it was a mistake for her to spend the night at his house the other say because she's married. Then Kippei starts acting cute and asks "is there no room for me?" AND HUGS HER! Ah, Kippei, you're so cute. This is the second time where he asks her to separate from her husband. She pushes him away and then he leaves, sad moment :'(. So as i said before Koichi's been nicer for some reason ... (I'm still not sure why. I thought it was all just an act it would seem like they were being a good family, but by the end i started wondering if he really did try to make things work too. Nah, he changed too much too fast, it's impossible) So he brings her home from work one day, as they're walking a care comes and she pushes Koichi out of the way (Nooo, why you do that, you should've let him get killed >:( ) She then ends up in the hospital with some memories a little fuzzy, a lot of it being about Kippei. She notices dogwoods in her hospital room and asks her mom if she brought them, and her mom says no, it was probably Koichi. And she actually somewhat believed her (Nooo, why you forget?) She then remembers about Kippei and her talking about flowers and him asking what her favorites were but she forgets what she answered back (Dogwoods!!!) She goes to sleep then the next day there are daisies in her room and she asks Koichi who brought them and he says he did. The MC is allowed to walk outside now and she goes into the courtyard and looks at the flowers. She gets a call from her friend Akiko who also works in the same company as her and she finds out that Koichi restricted visits from her co workers. That night she asks Koichi and Koichi says that he wanted to be alone with his wife and there she goes saying stuff like that. Then he tells her he wants her to quit her job when she gets out of the hospital. She wakes up the next morning and she reconize's Kippei's scent. She overhears Koichi and Kippei talking, Koichi is pretending to be a protective husband and asks who Kippei is and if he's been the one bringing in flowers this entire time. He said yes, and Koichi asks what kind of relationship he has with the MC. Kippei answers that she is a very important employee to him. Then the MC gets all depressed thinking that's all he thinks of her as (She annoyed me here. He's obviously not going to say what he really thinks to your husband, that would've caused problems! Think a little about his side.) Being all depressed, the MC doesn't eat. Koichi brings in some flowers and the MC asks if he knows what they mean, then Koichi asks if it's becasue of 'him'. She starts crying and then Kippei rushes in (Awwww, he came in so abruptly and in a hurry, messy hair suit and everything.) Kippei says that Koichi told him that her condition had worsened so he rushed over. Obvious lie from Koichi. Koichi says that the MC wants to talk about the future and that they (Kippei and the MC) should go talk in the courtyard. As they talk the Mc asks how work has been and all that stuff. She tells him that she's planning on quitting after she is discharged even though she's in the middle of a couple of projects. Kippei yells and says he won't allow her to quit. She says that it's inexusable to abandon her projects but she loves him. She finally says it, yay. But again she brings up the fact of her parents and that she doesn't want to burden them or something. The MC then brings up that she knows that she's just an employee to him. Kippei can't take it anymore and picks her up and brings her back to her room and confronts Koichi.

Kippei asks for Koichi to seperate from the MC. He knows that he said that the MC was just an employee to him but he akes full responsibilty for the way things have been up until now. Koichi asks if Kippei can make the MC happier than he could (At first i thought Koichi was saying this in a superior condescending voice, but he wasn't) Koichi smiles and says he knew this would happen and tells Kippei to make the MC happy. Then he leaves the hospital room. Yay happy happy happy. The MC says she won't quit and that her parents won't be happy, but Kippei says he'll protect her (i think). She gets discharged, divorce papers are being worked on, she goes back to work and everything is like normal again. The MC, Kippei, Akiko, Aiba, and Nanami (coworkers) go out for drinks to celebrate the MC being discharged. She gets a call from her mom saying that her dad is still mad. Her mom tells her she (mom) saw the MC in the park with a man (Kippei) and that she looked really happy. Her mom tells her to be happy this time. Afterwards she goes back to Kippei's house. He lets her sleep in the guest room (if he has one, if not then shes sleeping in his room while hes going to sleep on the sofa). Kippei says he can't hold himself back anymore and he tells the MC to call him Kippei when they're alone (this enire time she's been calling him Mr.Ebihara). She says she can't, but then Kippei says that he won't stop until she does and when she does he starts again saying that he can't stop now when she's finally called his name (AHHHHHHHHHHH ASDFGHJKL; too cute) He then gives her a hickey.... saying that he can't trust if Aiba would not do anything to her, showing off his jealous and protective side, too cute. The main story basically ends off here. But there is an epilogue yaaaaay.

Epilogue:
Since i wrote so much for the main story i think i'm going to try to keep the epilogue short. There's three chapters. So the MC is now divorced but she still lives in her old house because it's convenient. The MC and Kippei are a lovely couple now. Rumors are going on about how the MC is now the Kippei right after her divorce making her look bad. The MC wants to keep their relationship a secret but Kippei doesn't care what the others think. He and the MC go check out the nearly finished book cafe the MC's been working on. Afterwards the MC and Akiko go out for drinks and invite Aiba. Akiko goes to the bathroom and Aiba confesses to the MC. The MC is shocked but she decides its better not to tell Kippei after they said that they shouldn't hide anything from each other. The MC goes home and Kippei stops by, but only for a little while and embraces her saying it's nice to hold her like this. Then Kippei suggests they go on a date and leaves the location to the MC. The next day Kippei makes Aiba take his place in the preschool project because he's busy now. Aiba tells her there are rumors going on about Kippei being transferred. She believes it and wonders why Kippei hasn't told her. Even at the end it doesn't tell us if he really is being transferred or not. The MC has been acting awkward around Aiba all day and he confronts her and tells her just to forget what he said from yesterday. Kippei texts her and asks her if shes free tonight and this time she replies and they go to the bar after work. The MC is still acting weird and Kippei asks if she's hiding anything from him, and she still doesn't tell him anything about the confession. Then Kiyoto (another guy that you can play that works at the bar) comes and lets out about the confession, always causing trouble lol. Kippei asks if it's true and she kind of tries explaining it and he says in an angry voice that she should've told him last night or today, but why didn't she? People start looking and he and the MC leave and go to the park. Kippei is calmer now and asking about the confession and the MC explains. Kippei says her punishment is that she has to go on a date with him tomorrow then. The MC is then like i thought the date was after the book cafe was done and Kippei says that he can't wait anymore. The MC is still wondering if she's forgiven. The day of the day aka the next day Kippei is driving her somewhere and it's revelaed that both of them went to see the phantom of the opera about 10 years ago in .. london? i think thats where it was. They stop by the sea take a small walk. They take a break and are sitting on the beach all alone, and it's quiet. And the MC is wondering if she's really forgiven. They were fine in the car but right now there's no conversation going on. She apoligizes about yesterday again and Kippei just tells her to forget it saying that he's not upset. Then they try to go find some place to eat. The MC is also wondering why he won't open up to her and it's really bothering her. Instead of going to a restaraunt or anything, Kippei takes her to an inn. Kippei suggests they go in the open air bath together and the MC is embarassed and she doesn't want to do it. Then Kippei says that it's part of her punishment so she has to. The MC is still trying to get out of it so she asks wasn't Kippei hungry and after some persuading she gets Kippei to eat first before going into the bath. After They're done eating they go out into the courtyard and look at the beauty and start talking about how they don't get to see this in Tokyo becasue everyone is always in a hurry. Kippei says that honestly he's not one to talk because if it weren't for the MC he would've gone through life in a hurry too and not noticed many things. They then return to their room and the MC thinks that she's gotten out of going into the bath together with Kippei, well she was wrong. When they're in the bath, Kippei asks why she's being shy and that she should come closer. He tease her a little and she apoligizes about the thing with Aiba again. He says he's not upset about that and that he's actually upset at himself because he feels that the MC couldn't come to him because she felt like she couldn't because of the way he was. He felt like he was someone that she couldn't depend on like he's not good enough yet. He says that he knows she must've gotten some trouble because of the rumors about them going on. She doesn't deny it and it's all the more reason why he says he feels like he's not dependable. The MC said that she doesn't know how to depend on others anymore or say how she really feels ever since her marriage and divorce. During her marriage she had to keep all  her feelings bottled up so she doesn't know how to depend on others anymore. Kippei then embraces her and says:
Kippei wants the one to be pampering the MC (so cute! <3) And then they share and intense kiss. They leave the next day and think about what to do for dinner. They go grocery shopping and decide to go with chinese. The MC runs into Aiba there and Kippei comes in saying that he would like it if Aiba gave up on the MC and that the MC is his.
Aiba says he knows. The MC looks happier with him thank when she was married. The only reason why Aiba confessed was to start over again on a fresh slate. Then Aiba says that Kippei should make the MC happy and leaves. The MC and Kippei go back to his house and start cooking dinner together. Kippei doesn't really cook so the MC tells him what to do. As they're eating they talk and stuff. Kippei said that he wishes they could spend everyday like this. The MC wonders what he means but he says forget it. Then Kippei says that he has a favor to ask of the MC. He wants her to move out of her apartment that she spent with her husband. The MC says that they didn't really have any memories there though. Kippei also says that Aiba lives around the area so he's worried. The MC says that Aiba just said that he gave up. Then she says that he worries too much. (When he said that he wants to move out of her apartment i thought he was gonna suggest she move in with him haha i wish he did) The MC then complies and Kippei says that he'll help her house hunt. In the end the MC says that she not sure if she'll be able to get married again after what happened with Koichi but she wants these happy days to continue.

~~~~
And that's the end of that. Man that took me forever to write...
And now since i wrote so much, I'm going to be compelled to go back to Riki's and elaborate more or else my OCD is going to bother me >.<
Next I think I'm going to do Ryoichi's from Seduced in a Sleepless Citty. I was originally gonna write about Genji's story next, but then i remembered that i finished Ryoichi's story before I finished Riki's, so i should get that out of the way first.
Ugh this took me 3 hours to write.
Time to go back and do Riki's now ugh damn you OCD!
Uggh, Boy&Cool manga ... *facepalm*
I have no words for this manga. It's horrible. i should've figured from the title -__- So it's about some girl who's never had a boyfriend before and then she meets a guy but it turns out to be her younger brother's friend who's 5 years younger. they start dating in the first chapter ... (too fast). Typical.
I am a fan of shoujo mangas but this was just too icky. First of all the girl, Nana, bothers me so much! She's annoying. She really has no character if you ask  me, with no character development whatsoever. Even though i'm only on the second chapter, i feel no character or emotion from her. Maybe the manga was just too fast? But even if it were that, the plot itself is no good. It's so cliche. Normally I always thought that cliche mangas weren't all that bad, or at least the ones I've read, because they were just so cute. But this one was just ugh.
In the second chapter she pushes him away when she thinks he's gonna "do something" to her... -__- Then she feels bad after a while and doesn't want him to hate her. so she pretties herself all up and goes over to his house and asks to go out on a date ... *facepalm* WHAT?! She sees that he's not enjoying himself then she makes a move on him .... i should slap this girl right now. "Let's continue from last time .." with that shoujo look on her face. He then pushes her and says that she's acting weird and its weird how she keeps looking at him and that he's leaving. I was dying at this part! This manga is fun to laugh at ohmygosh. So overdramtic. She then falls while chasing after him and has a pitiful look on her face while everyone just stares at her hahahahaha. Why is this funny? I don't feel bad for her whatsoever, if it was a good shoujo manga that i liked then i would be like awww :( but no, this is just bad. He comes back, she starts crying, misunderstandings are clear, and then they exchange i love you'd... ARGGJGHGHGHGHGH asdfghjkl; -___________-
You and me both -_-
Hakuouki, did Hijikata san die? My thoughts on the matter. And about the deaths of the others.
I finished watching the anime in the summer 2012, and i absolutely LOVED IT! It was so good, the drama was good, it was funny, the romance was cute, and the deaths hit me so hard. At the end of almost every death i looked the the japanese crying emoticon (T_T). It was a beautiful anime. I normally don't watch animes like these, like the historical shinsengumi animes, or about samurais, historical japan, or i guess gore animes. But this one was so good, it's a must see. The deaths that hit me all began in the end of the first season with inoue san dying. Then like 5 minutes later yamazaki jun dies (i think thats his name, the ninja, "doctor" guy). His death had me bawling. And then they bury him at sea?!!!?!?! Yup, i started crying all over again from there haha. Even though i say bury, they actually placed him into  a water with the use of a pulley thing.
I cried during Harada san's death as well, it was just so sad. Especially when he says that he's not gonna die because he has to go to Anzu (?) and meet up with [Nagakura san]. Oh friendship :'(. Then okita san's death. Surprisingly i didn't cry all that much but it was still sad. He died trying to protect Chizuru and Hijikata san. Presumably he turns to ashes after and he elves his sword behind in the ground which are the only things that show that okita san was there to chizuru and hijikarta san.
I cried every time someone said this :'(
And then the death that i think i cried the most from, aside from yamazaki san's, is heisuke's and sannan san's deaths. Not necessarily sannan san i cried over, more of the scene. They fought along hijikata san until the end and then they turned to ashes. I grew a liking to heisuke so i think that's why i felt so emotional T_T
No, stop saying that >.<
Heisuke kun~~!!! T_T
Okay, now finally, do i think Hijikata san died? Yes. He was my favorite character and i loved him, but i honestly think he died. I wrote this around in a bunch of places but i'm going to say it here. He died. So everyone keeps saying ohh he didn't turn into ash and he wiped away chizuru's tears at the end so he must be alive lalalala~. I don't see it that way. It was left ambiguous whether or not he died, but I'm going to share my opinion. So about the ash thing, the reason he didn't turn to ash was because he died as a human. Heisuke and Sannan san turned to ash while hey were still in they rasetsu form. Hijikata san changed back to his human form and died so he obviously wasn't going to turn to ash. That's what I think. If he didn't die from his fight with kazama then he could've died from the bullet from right before his fight with kazama. Then the thing about how he wiped away her tears, i think that was just in chizuru's head or it was his spirit or something, cus in animes spirits are capable of doing things like that. Besides the fact that after they show him wipe away her tear and he wasn't lying down, he was sitting just made me think hmm, i don't think he's alive and maybe it's his spirit watching over chizuru or something. If that made sense. I believe he died, i don't want it like that because then it seems like chizuru's gonna be all alone, unless she meets up with saitou san or something. I will always love you, Hijikata san <3
Hijikata san <3
That's all i really have to say. Later today I think I'm gonna put up a post about Kippei's route from In Your Arms Tonight. I finished it 2 days ago, but i didn't want to post about it yesterday cus i already posted about Riki's route from Love Letter From Thief X.
Amazing anime :')
Love Letter From Thief X: Riki (´ ▽`).。o♡
AHHHHH!!!!
I really liked Riki's route ^^
I finished watching it on youtube a couple of days ago and it was sooooo cute. I love Riki, normally i don't like the "flirty" types like saeki (from my forged wedding, havent watched his route yet). I don't really consider Riki that kind of flirty though. He's a playboy. But like all animes, mangas, visual novels, and tome games, he always has a good reason :)
~~SPOILERS YAYAYAYAY~~ *rewritten*
(watched from Seii K on youtube: http://youtu.be/V8OHUtf_JKQ)
Prologue: The MC works as a museum curator. One day a group of thieves called he Black Foxes come and rob the museum of a painting. The thieves notice a ring the MC is wearing and questions why she has it. The thieves then leave. The next day she meets up with a friend of her and talks about the Black Foxes. She meets 2 of the Black Foxes (not knowing who they were) and then she goes home. As she enters she hears whispers and then she getes kidnapped by the Black Foxes. They take her back to their hideout and explain to her what's going on. Her great grandfather was a famous painter, but many of his paintings are being used for ill reasons now and the Black Foxes are trying to retrieve them. They explain that the MC's great grandfather and all the Black Foxes' great grandfathers were all friends. Then about the ring, it was originally the MC's great grandfather's and since she had it that Black Foxes knew that she was her great grandfather's great granddaughter so they want her to join them so they can find one of the MC's great grandfather's paintings that he hid somewhere. Then the boss of the Black Foxes asks the MC to choose who she wants to look after her.
Main Story: So the MC picks Riki to be the one that looks after her because he's the leader of the Black Foxes. She is flustered when she learns that she can't go home and has to stay at the Black Foxes "headquarters"/hideout. Riki lets he use his room to sleep in and he'll sleep in another room. The MC tries telling him that she won't run away anymore, but Riki doesn't listen and insists on looking after her. Like all these typical girls, when the MC thinks about them being in the same room at night means somethings gonna happen and Riki teases her about it, saying he won't do anything becasue he has "superior DNA" (LOL wtheck haha) Riki then says that they're not realy criminals because they're just returning the paintings back to where they belong because where they are now got there through black market trades and theft. Then he says once they get back her great grandfather's art she can go home and she and Riki will continue to be strangers. The MC goes to take a shower and then talks to the boss for a little while, he tells her her "fortune" and then asks her how she sees Riki, "as a lover?". She quickly rejects that thought and thinks to herself how he seems like a playboy. She goes back to the room and sees Riki sleeping on the bed and attempts to wake him up. Then the typical happens, he grabs her with both arms still half asleep. She
struggles to get away and then he wakes up and wonders what she's doing, not knowing that he was the one who came onto her. The MC tells him what he did and he doesn't believe saying that he would never do something like that to a woman like her. (Oh typical Riki) She starts achoo-ing and Riki helps dry her hair saying that she'll catch a cold. The MC then goes to sleep. The next morning she wakes up and Riki's already gone to work. She goes into the restaurant part of the hideout and she sees Kenshi (another player that you can play and a member of the Black Foxes). Kenshi says that Riki made some miso soup this morning before he went to work and that she should have some. Then he explains how all of them have a day job because they don't get paid for being thieves and how it actually really helps them with being thieves, Riki is a government worker, Takuto is a computer engineer i think, Kenshi himself is a firefighter, and Hiro is an art student. Takuto wakes up and joins them, still in a bad mood, and Kenshi starts talking about Riki and how he's always been the top at everything, seemingly perfect. Takuto then starts choking as he always does no matter what he's eating (It's actually really funny every time he starts choking haha) The MC starts pounding him on the back and he yells at her saying she hit too hard. So later into the night, the MC has nothing to do so she cleans the entire place and then Riki comes back and says they're going out to dinner. He wants to tell the MC about the next mission. Then Riki asks he if she has a cold and puts his hand on her forehead, spazzing out the MC. Then Riki tells her she better not give him her cold and goes on about how important he is and why it'd be bad if he caught a cold (surprisingly this doesn't disgust me at all. Normally i don't like these kind of arrogant characters, but on Riki it's cute <3) Riki takes the MC to a fancy french restaurant. Riki then starts teasing her asking if she's ever been out with a man before because she seems so fidgety.
The MC then says that she can't just go out with a guy so randomly like that and he responds, "Why not? Just go out for dinner with someone." The MC gets irritated because he says that so easily and calmly. Then the conversation directs towards Riki when the MC asks if he goes out with women he doesn't love. And he admits it, at least he's honest, and says the reason is just simple lust. Then he reaches across and touches the the MC's hand, :OOOO jk he was just trying to show her the menu haha, but the MC still freaked out inside. Riki being the person he is teases her about it. They spend half the date with the MC thinking to herself about how sophisticated Riki is, how she's a commoner (they really use the word commoner), and how he's a playboy. *fact: Riki doesn't like smoking cheap cigarettes, but he will smoke cigars... (ugh :( ) He then explains the mission to her; the MC's great grandfather left works behind before the war, after he came back he donated some museums and gave others to patrons. He put his works for good reasons and wouldn't sell them for anyone who would just use it for money. Then after the war, many of the paintings were stolen. Then he talks about "The Lady of The Camellias", the MC's great grandfather's most famous painting that he hid somewhere which is what the Black Foxes are trying to find. Then he says that all the Black Foxes great grandfathers were best friends with the MC's and that their connected by fate ;). He goes on to say that the MC's great grandfather said he wanted to leave the Lady of the Camellias with his great granddaughter, the MC. Before he could tell anyone where the painting was, he died. The MC doesn't know where the painting could be and Riki said that her great grandfather said that if they find three of his paintings then they'll figure out the location of the Lady of the Camellias. All three paintings were stolen so right now they are focusing on looking for the first one, Cherry Blossom. They decide to leave and go back to Le Renord Noir, the hideout/restaurant's name. But before they leave, Riki continues teasing the MC cutely and says he's never met such a prude woman with no sex appeal lol. Then Mitsuru appears. A coworker of the MC. He's a creep. That's all i have to say. He asks if she's on the date she denies it, he leaves, and Riki says that Mitsuru likes her and that the quiet ones with the glasses are who she should be worried about. She brings up that Mitsuru had asked her out to dinner last Christmas but she didn't go and Riki said she should've just gone (ugh why are you encouraging her >.<) . They go back to Le Renord Noir and find Takuto and Hiro there. No one acually lives there, they just crash there every once in a while. Once again Takuto is choking and the MC tries to help which just ends up with her getting yelled at again. Riki goes to take a shower, the MC talks with Hiro and Takuto and learn a little about why he's a playboy and doesn't get serious relationships. Riki's fatehr is politician and Riki will one day take over his chair so he has to marry someone who would benefit the family. She goes back to the room, Riki yells at her from the bathroom and asks her to bring in a razor blade for him. So she basically sees him naked, with a towel though pg 13 haha. And she freaks out. She wakes up the next morning and Takuto looks as hateful as always haha. Riki already left but he left miso soup again for her. I think he leaves medicine for her and the MC starts thinking that even though he has a foul mouth and a playboy he's still a worrywart and is really considerate towards her. She's cleaning again today and she shares a little moment with Takuto :3. Later in the day they all gather in the park and talk about the mission to get the painting Cherry Blossom. Takuto is questioning why they have to bring the MC with them too asting really irritated. After they're done with the serious stuff Riki suggests the MC and Takuto take a walk since they're in the park, teasing Takuto saying that he's always shut up in his room, he needs sunlight ohgosh lol. They end up taking a walk and they start talking, Takuto asks her if she's not mad about before, calls her an old lady, and then start talking about sweets. They start talking about how Riki has a meeting to do to today so he's going to be foreced to drink and warns the MC about how he acts when he gets back. But he doesn't tell her any specifics saying she'll find out. (Hmmm... i wonder what he'll act like ;) The MC is in bed when Riki comes home and the boss basically just left Riki all up to the MC to care for. Nice. So basically when Riki's drunk he acts like a spoiled kid... how cute! He whines for water, puts his head on the MC's thighs, but complains that they're uncomfortable, he falls asleep then the MC just stares at him and starts describing his features (Uhh yeah. that's not creepy at all) Riki wakes up again and complains about his tie telling the MC to take it off for him. Then he complains about his shirt and the MC has no choice but to start unbuttoning it. After he sobers up a little the MC asks if he doesn't like his job but he doesn't answer. He asks if he can sleep in the bed tonight and he won't do anything to her, just of course he has to tease her a little, it wouldn't be right if he didn't.
The next morning Riki doesn't go to work and the MC brings up about how last night it seemed like he didn't like his job, but Riki says he doesn't remember and asked if it was a dream? Saying he would appreciapte if she didn't dream about him teasingly. They talk a little about family, the MC's commoner family and Riki's aristocratic family. He also tells her his mom died when he was in elementary school. The MC gets worried. Riki gives the MC some miso soup he made again and the MC says that he shouldn't fool himself with the notion that girls fall in love with guys who can cook. That night the first mission begins. In filtration begins. They get to the room with all the paintings and the MC figures out that they are all counterfeits but she's not entirely sure, Takto says that they shouldn't take the chance and tells them to take the paintings anyways. But the MC insists that they're fakes. Riki finds a button on the wall and afer pressign it the real paintings come out from under the coutnerfeits and they take all the paintings. They almost get caught and Riki tells the rest that he'll hold them off and they shuld get going. They all wait for Riki in the van and they giv ehim 2 minutes before the have to go. The MC starts crying and Takuto tells her not to worry and that Riki will definately come back, he even said it himself. Riki does make it back and they go back to Le Renord Noir and look at the painting. They find a code on the back that will help them figure out the location of the Lady of the Camellias. They have a party but Riki doesn't join in, the Mc finds him in his room looking at the painitng. Riki says that the woman in the painiting looks like her, but the MC can't completely see it. Riki asks her if she knows what the meaning of Cherry Blossoms means: Smiling at you. Riki then tells her that it's okay now for her to go home and start going back to work. Then Riki asks if she doesn't want to be seperated from him ;) and brings up her crying again saying that if she's going to cry then she should stay with him. But he says it was all a joke.(Mhm it was a joke all right. I know you were serious about it Riki ^^) The MC starts thinking that it's best if she's away from him, she'll only get hurt if she falls in love. Finally back at work, the MC meets her childhood friend Tatsuro. Then he starts talking about the Black Foxes and the MC can't say anything becasue she's a part of them too. Then Mitsuru comes up acting all jealous and starts talking about how in manga the girl always ends up with the childhood friend. (This guy is just weird) He asks her out to dinner and she says okay. They finish eating and he tries to confess o her that he likes her. Big fail.
Tell me not, this guy is creepy ...
Before he gets the words out the MC notices Riki with a female friend in a fight. The females starts yelling and slaps Riki. Riki says that he'll let her hit him as much as she wants if it'll make her feel better. This makes her even more mad and she storms off. He notices the MC and tells her to stop hiding. Mitsuru comes up to her and says he'll bring her home (Ewww no, you're creepy you potential stalker!). Riki intervenes and says that he'll take her home instead and rushes her away.
Mhm i agree, he def wouldn't have.
Instead of taking her home home, Riki takes her back to Le Renord Noir. He makes a move on her jokingly (supposedly) but he leaves the room soon after. She leaves too to give him back his phone. She passes by the boss and he says she has the face of a woman in love (i love the boss for trying to get them together or just for getting the MC flustered, it's always entertaining)  He asks if it's Riki, (Bwahaha way to make it awkward for her) Then he says that Riki just passed by with the same look on his face.
While looking for Riki to return his phone, she overhears Takuto and Riki talking. Takuto asks what Riki is doing with the MC and asking him why he won't do what he wants to do. Riki replies with that crap of how he has o take over his father and all that stuff about his family and about an arranged marriage someday. Then Takuto asks if this is about his mother? if he's still not over it? Then he brings up an Ibuki (i thought she was gonna be a future rival, i got a headache just thinking about it) Then Riki ends the conversation ubuptly. The MC gives back his phone and boss tells them that he has information on the second painting The Lily of The Valley. Riki tells them he plan and then leaves for work. Boss gives the MC and Takuto some coffee and Takuto starts choking ... again. But this time the MC doesn't do anything at first, she just watches. and then hits him. not as hard though. The MC goes back to work, having not see everyone in a while and then Mitsuru appears again. ugh. And he questions her about the other time with Riki and how he doesn't think the MC should hang around him, him being a playboy and everything. Then he says that she's all he thinks about (when it comes from him it sounds creepy) then he just randomly screams her name ... why? Takuto was nearby and hears (thank god!! she was gonna be raped lol hahaha) and yanks her away from him and they go out to eat. Takuto is becoming nicer .. he let the MC have the last pork noodles :OOOO lol. Turns out he's been worried about her because she seems depressed lately. Takuto shares some stories about when Riki and him were children. Takuto used to get bullied and Riki would always help him. And then they would fight with the older kids and always end up with bruises and cuts. Then he explains who Ibuki is, Riki's younger 17 year old sister who was born with a weak heart. Because their mother died, Riki has been the parent figure for Ibuki her entire life. He's a good protective older brother. Riki is still only with the family because he can't leave Ibuki. Then he talks about Riki's mother. How being in the family was too much pressure for her. After giving brith to Ibuki, she was admitted into a hospital. She snuck out one day and got into a car "accident". This explains why before when Riki and Takuto were talking that Riki said that he didn't want anyone else to be hurt from coming into his family (<3) The MC decides to sleep at Le Renord Noir since their mission is the next day. Riki is in his room and the MC says that she and Takuto had dinner together just now. And Riki is happy for them, with no signs of jelaousy. But the MC says that she'd rather eat Riki's miso soup and he makes fun of her for it. Then he asks her why she doesn't try going out with him, they'd made a cute couple, he says. He asks her if she wants to try some of this whiskey and he dips his finger in and she actually licks it!!!!!! Then he starts jokingly making  move on her. They start the second mission now. This time Riki and the MC are posing as a couple infiltrating a party. And they bump into Tatsuro and the MC's best friend, who is also Tatsuro's sister, Ranko. Ranko starts yelling at the MC asking her why she never told her she had such a good looking boyfriend and that she definately has to set her up. Then Tatsuro starts questioning Riki about his relationship with the MC since theyre posing as a couple.
After, Riki talks to her about Tatsuro liking her. The MC asks if Riki can always tell if someone likes him and he says 100% of the time and the MC is wondering if he's picked up on her feelings hmmm. The others have recovered the painting and Riki and the MC go back to the van. On their way Riki notices that Tatsuro is following them. It'd be bad if he follwed them to the van so Riki pretends to kiss the MC and Tatsuro does leave them. They go back to Le Renord Noi and look at the painting Lily of the Valley. It's the same model from the Cherry Blossom. Lily of the Valley means: Return to happiness. They decide to go off to bed but this time Riki says he'll sleep in the other room, even thought they've been sleeping in the same room for a while now, raising some questions. Riki comes into her room after and apologizes .. for saying he'd never go after a prude? then the MC says not to forget about it, she didn't care. She says he doesn't have to worry, but he said he worries about even if she told him not too. This romantic moment seems a lot more serious than the other times. Then the both reconfirm that after they find the last painting they'll never see each other again. Then he hugs her tightly! And the MC is still hung up on the idea that she'll get hurt if she falls in love. The next morning, Riki volunteers drive her home until he gets a call from Ibuki's caretaker saying that she was just rushed into the hospital. The MC tags along with Riki to the hospital and meets Ibuki. Ibuki looks a lot older than Riki, she looks like his mother. She looks like the typical nice mother from animes and mangas.
Doesn't she look older thank Riki? (well older than 17)
Ibuki feels guilty because she thinks that she disturbed Riki and the MC's time together. Then she and Riki start talking about her Coming of Age Ceremony kimono. Riki recieves a call from his father and steps out to take it. Ibuki tells the MC is try and convince Riki to not get her a kimono for her ceremony because she doesn't think she'll live long enought to wear it, so having the kimono around would just depress Riki. She's always wondered if it would've been better if she wasn't born, that way Riki wouldn't be burdened to stay with the family. The MC tells her that Riki wouldn't want her to be thinking of those things. Ibuki requests the MC to try and convince Riki to live his life he way he wants. On their way back, Riki doesn't say anything in the car ride back. Then admits that he heard her say that she doesn't think she'll live til her Coming of Age Ceremony. Riki thanks the MC for saying all those things to Ibuki. Then he says that after his mom died he always thought that he has to protect her. Then the MC starts crying. He apoligizes for getting her involved. Then she starts going on a spiel about how he knows how she feels about him and everytime she thinks she getting closer to Riki he all of a sudden puts up all these walls. Then he pulls over to the side of the road and leans in for a kiss, a serious one, he's not teasing her this time eek. But he says he's not going to get any closer to her T_T
Then it just ends there. Next you know the MC is back at her house and hasn't seen Riki since that day. Takuto calls and is worried about her. Then she goes takes a shower and Tatsuro comes over and questions her about Riki. The MC gets offended when he admits that he was looking into Riki and sine she doesn't want him to catch onto Riki she starts getting mad. And he basically let it slip out that he loved her -_-. The MC says that things are going great but Tatsuro asks her why she looks so sad then. Takuto comes to the rescue again. With pork noodles!! Then Tatusro leaves. As they're eating guess what? Yup Takuto is choking again hahaha. And the MC hits him hard on purpose this time. They talk for a little and right when Takuto is about to leave they bother get a text concerning the third painting. They bother head over the Le Renord Noir. They tell Riki about eating noodles together at her house cus he asked why they came together (well that was a brilliant idea to tell him -_-) Riki tells them all about the plan. Afterwards Kenshi asks the MC if she's going out with Takuto and this would cause some flusteration (yes, flusteration) and some useless mini drama. Then Riki comes in say in they should get some rest. So they all fly off to Hokkaido for the mission and end up having a snowball fight. Later into the day, Riki and Takuto are once again talking. It's almost the same as last time, takuto asking if it's really alright, Riki saying her doesn't want her involved, he's not going to get closer yada yada yada. But this time Takuto yells at him for trying to act cool. Riki denies it and asks why Takuto doesn't just go out with her.
You idiot! You're the one who's supposed to make her happy.
The missions starts! And Hiro is disguised as a woman ... and he actually looks really pretty haha. Everyone goes into their positons, the MC remembers their conversation from before, Riki asks her if knows what dogwood means: accpet my feelings. The MC is about to say something but Riki tells her not to say it.
Don't hold back Riki!
Kenshi hands the painting off to Riki and Riki and the MC drive off on a snow mobile. They are persued but are able to lose them, but are far away from the cabin they were staying in and  have to take shelter in a random cabin in the middle of nowhere. Typical. They start talking and Riki admits that it was fun talking to the MC. She starts crying, Riki tells her to stop, and he even said he wouldn't get closer to her but he embraces her and he asks where she wants to cry. She says chest and she starts bawling. And he acts all cute and romantic, kissing her on the forhead saying cute things, the MC even makes a move and kisses him on the cheek. So they had a cute moment. But then they return to the cabin and everyone starts yelling and saying how worried they were. Riki tells Takuto that he wants him to hurry and break the codes to find the location of Lady of the Camellias. Then the MC remembers that now since the missions ae over they're gonna go back to being strangers. She goes to take a shower and Takuto says he wants to talk to her. Guess what? He confesses. He said he was worried when she didn't come back. He admits he knows she only has feelings for Riki, but could she love him too? All of this while embracing her, just saying. Riki comes in and then ... *awkward silence*. Riki leaves, the MC goes after, Takuto holds her back, and the MC politely rejects him. Takuto accepts and smiles. She runs into the boss again haha and he said that Riki just passed by with the same look on his face too haha just like last time. Boss gives her encouraging words. She asks to see the Flowering Dogwood, the third painting. And says that the model in the picture, all three paintings, was her great grandmother. Boss tells her the story of her great grandfather and grandmother's love. It's so cute and a classic. Families opposed them getting married, great grandfatehr was a starving artist, forbidden to see each other, grandfater didn't give up, he tells her that he's going to be a famous artist in 10 years and tells her to meet him again in that place they were talking in in 10 years if you still feel that way about me. How romantic! Then she goes off to Riki. Right when she enters the room Riki is talking to a caretaker about Ibuki's condition and says he's has to return right away but there aren't any flights so the MC comforts him and says he should wait til morning. Riki can't sleep and goes to sit on the sofa and the MC stays with him and comforts him and they share another cute moment. First thing n the morning, the get on a plane and head towards the hospital. Turns out Ibuki needs emergency surgery. Riki then complains that even in a time like this, his father still wouldn't come visit ibuki because his name and job is more important. The MC hears Riki's father talking and complains about selfish reasons why he wants Ibuki to live. Then Riki blows up on him.
At night while waiting for the surgery to finish, Riki opens up more about his pst and admits that he's always hated being alone. The doctor comes in, Ibuki's surgery was a success. Riki is really happy and says he's glad the MC was beside him and that he's never letting her go and he kisses her! yay! Everyone at Le Renord Noir celebrate over the successful surgery. Takuto is being awkward and Hiro says that he didn't sleep at all. The MC then walks in on Takuto when he's in the bathroom. Takuto then starts laughing at her and then Riki comes in and Takuto tells him to teach his woman some manners. Takuto asks and confirms if they're going out now and Riki says he'll let Takuto punch him all he wants. Takuto gives him a light punch and he says that he's satisfied now. (aww friendship, don't let a lover get in your way. that's the way to go) Before they go to sleep Riki says he's going to visit Ibuki tomorrow and have a talk with his father about who he wants to marry. (ohohoho how cute <3) the MC tells Riki about the love story of her great grandparents and how they never gave up and Riki thanks the MC for never giving up on him. And then they say cute words to each other that i just can't deal with asdfghjkl; ahhhh :). The next day she's at work Mitsuru apoligizes and everything and Ranko invites her and Riki to a party. Riki drives the MC to the hospital to visit Ibuki. Riki was being very very very affectionate in the car lol
They're so lovey dovey
Ibuki is feeling a lot better now and she's going to start going to school, but she's nervous wheather or not she'll do fine. Happy happy scene. Riki brings Ibuki back to her room, he comes back to the MC in the hospital courtyard and starts acting intimate. THe MC gets flustered because they're out in public, Riki doesn't care and continues kissing her (lol sadist) Riki and the MC are getting ready to leave for the party and Takuto is getting frustrated becasue he can't solve the code. They leave for the party and Tatsuro is there too. He pulls the MC aside and go to the park they playd in when they were little and tells her everything he's found out about Riki. He makes all these connections and such and accuses Riki of being part of the Black Foxes, but the MC denies it and says that Riki isn't a criminal and he shouldn't say these things without proof. Riki comes and explains everything using an alibi and and entirely fake story about seeing the news about the robbery in the newspaper, recognizing who the MC was, and then wanting to meet her. All lies but Tatsuro fell for it so i guess it's okay. Riki says that Tatsuro was just trying to drive the MC away from Riki using bogus information. Tatsuro then lands a punch on Riki. Riki says he'll allow Tatsuro to punch him as much as he wants. Tatsuro gets angry that Riki isn't fighting back. Tatsuro said that he wanted to become a cop because he wanted to protect her, it was his job. And Riki says cooly that it's his job now. Then the rest of the Black Foxes come, notice that Riki was punched and start saying how they were going to hurt Tatsuro but Riki said it's aoky because he gave Tatsuro permission. They go back to Le Renord Noir and Takuto figured out the  code, it was an address. Riki and the MC go to the address the next day and find the Lady of the Camellias. The model in this painting was wearing the ring that was left for the MC. They figure out that the house they were in was the meeting place the her great grandparents had set up. Riki and the MC go out into the garden where Riki symbolically proposes to her with an emerald ring. They spend the night in the house and the have some time at the end ... in the bedroom ... confirming their feelings to each other ... and you know what they do haha ;) and thats where it ends.
I'm fnally done!!!!!!!!
 I can't wait for his epilogue. Sadly the only epilogue out is takuto's. And there are no spin offs or sequels *sad
next i already have kippei's up so i have to write about Ryoichi from seduced in the sleepless city which i technically finished before Riki's but forgot about it.
Am i making these too long? I'll try to control myself in ryoichi's
Little Busters episode 17, the zero sum game?
Zero sum game: a situation in which one's win is matched by another's loss.
i think it comes business and/or economics.
In a way it's kind of like saying, "for every action, there is an equal reaction" or something like that. In context of business, if your business is doing well, then there is a business out there who is doing equally as bad.
Now instead of businesses and their success, replace that with happiness, and you get what futaki-san was talking about.
`````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````
Futaki-san: Naoe Riki. Don't you think life is a zero sum game? Do you think the amount of happiness is constant? Let's say the amount of happiness and unhappiness in the world is fixed. Life is a game where if one person becomes happy, another becomes unhappy. Everyone think's they're the most unhappy. And everyone who thinks they're unhappy, think everyone else is happy.
`````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````
When i first watched this episode when it came out subbed, i started thinking of the zero sum game like how in science, matter is never destroyed or created, the amount of matter on the Earth will never change. So instead of matter, think of happiness. (Think of happiness itself as a material thing) There's only a limited amount of happiness in the world and everyone strives for that happiness, but not everyone gets it. So while you're on the way to obtain that happiness, there are people who are unhappy and fall behind you. New happiness can't be created, the amount of happiness in the world is what you're stuck with and the meaning of life is to aim for that happiness.
For all the happiness you experience, there is someone out there suffering that same amount.
You can think that humans are naturally selfish beings. There is no such thing as being completely selfless because you always get something out of your actions whether or not you're aware. There is no such thing as selflessness, everyone is selfish. It's not always a bad thing. Because of selfishness, humans have evolved incredibly since the beginning because humans always strived for knowledge and ways to make life better and easier. So, because humans are selfish, we would do anything for happiness and to protect that happiness, hence we hurt others in the process (if you want to talk about the zero sum game as something that happens directly, but it can also be interpreted indirectly like what i say about 'For all the happiness you experience, there is someone out there suffering that same amount.'. Because that person who is suffering, you may not even know)
What i wrote up here sounds kind of bad lol, kind of like a bad outlook on life.
But i really do believe that the meaning of life is to be happy. Not in dark way as said above haha.
So Futaki san is talking to Riki and explains to him how he sees herself and haruka. How, ever since they were born it was impossible for the both of them to be happy. And near the end she says something about how people who sees themselves as unhappy see others as happy, and i think she was talking about haruka. Haruka always saw Futaki san as the lucky one, the one that was treated a whole lot better than her, in Haruka's eyes, and Haruka started despising her own existence because of that.
Because of their circumstances only one could be "happy". And he fact that they are twins makes it have even more of an impact on the zero sum game theory. Since they're twins you could see them as one person, so shouldn't they both be happy or unhappy together? No. Only one can, while the other suffers. In a close zero sum game situation between two people like this, it is even more evident of how accurate the zero sum game is. While Futaki san is seemingly happy, at least happier than Haruka, Haruka was beat and treated horribly only because of accusations without any hard proof. (don't want to put any spoilers =P)
This reaccuring "theme"(? if my english teacher saw me call this a theme i would get an earful lol, but i really don't consider this a theme. A motif maybe? Something that reoccurs many times thoughout something, in this case anime and manga) can be seen in many animes. Example, Kamichama Karin. The two Himekas, when one is well the other is sick. They were never meant to be in the same world together so both can't be well at the same to, as a way to keep balance. That's the way i see it now when i think back on that anime the i watched many years ago lol.
Pretty lengthy post today, thought provoking i guess haha
again, these are just my thoughts.
Thanks for reading all the way down here, i hope
